On Saturday, August 22nd, Brother Parrish Schoon represented the Mu Mu Nupes at the BSA Freshmen Orientation. The BSA Freshmen Orientation is an annual event hosted by the Black Student Alliance (BSA) to welcome and introduce incoming Black freshmen to the campus community. The event gives students a chance to connect with one another, learn about campus resources, and become familiar with the organizations and communities available throughout their college experience.
Brother Schoon, the Co-PR Chair on BSA’s E-Board, played an active role in supporting the event. He helped with setup, checked in attendees, and served food throughout the orientation. His involvement helped create a welcoming, engaging environment for incoming freshmen while demonstrating the importance of leadership, service, and community involvement.
