Hebron Family Fest Community Activities

On April 3, 2026, the Brothers of the Fort Gregg-Adams (VA) Alumni Chapter—along with family, friends, and community supporters—helped create a safe, engaging, and enjoyable environment for children and families attending the Hebron Family Fest at Good Shepherd Baptist Church in Petersburg, Virginia. Volunteers included Camren L. Brown and Zen Sanders, the son and nephew of Brother Carl L. Brown, as well as community supporter Steven Powell, all of whom contributed to the success of the event.

Hebron is a Petersburg-based nonprofit organization committed to educating and empowering underserved young women. Through programs centered on etiquette, self-love, confidence, and essential life skills, Hebron works to reduce risks such as academic failure, suspensions, teen pregnancy, and involvement in the juvenile justice system. The organization also addresses broader community concerns, including poverty, food insecurity, and youth violence.

The chapter’s participation in the Family Fest reflects Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity’s enduring commitment to service and community engagement. By volunteering alongside loved ones, the brothers demonstrated the fraternity’s values in action, strengthened community relationships, supported youth development, and established a new partnership with Hebron VA, Inc. This collaboration reinforces the chapter’s dedication to uplifting underserved youth and contributing to meaningful change throughout the local community.
