Brother Carl Brown, the province’s Keeper of Records, is a devoted member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., guided by a deep commitment to achievement, brotherhood, and service. For the past seven years, he has served as Assistant Province Keeper of the Records for the Eastern Province, where he has helped ensure that the province’s records are accurate, organized, and properly maintained. This role has strengthened his appreciation for the importance of clear documentation, timely reporting, and accountability, while preparing him to serve with confidence and care in greater leadership capacities.
Beyond his responsibilities in the Records Office, Brother Brown has been an active and dependable contributor to several key provincial initiatives. As a member of the Membership Training Academy Committee, he has helped process more than one thousand new initiates, supporting their transition into meaningful and successful fraternal involvement. He has also played a significant role in the Senior Kappa–50 Year Member Committee, helping to recognize and celebrate brothers whose lifelong service has shaped the fraternity’s legacy. These experiences reflect both his administrative skill and his genuine respect for the traditions that unite the Brotherhood.
Brother Brown’s leadership experience spans both the provincial and chapter levels. Provincially, he has served as a Bylaws Committee Member, Chairman of the Senior Kappa Affairs Endowment Fund and Life Membership, and Assistant Province Keeper of the Records. He has also provided long-standing service to the Membership Training Academy and the Senior Kappa–50 Year Member Committee, including roles as Executive Secretary and Vice Chairman.
At the chapter level, he has held several elected positions, including Keeper of the Records, Vice Polemarch, and Polemarch. His service has been recognized with numerous honors, including multiple Senior Kappa Impact Awards, the Province Polemarch Service Award, Certificates of Achievement, several Brother of the Year recognitions, a Community Service Award, and the Unsung Hero Award from the Petersburg National Pan-Hellenic Council.
Professionally, Brother Brown serves as a Board Member of the Association of Quartermasters. He holds a Master of Business Administration from Averett University and a Bachelor of Individualized Studies from Virginia State University.
