Dr. Bishop Bobby Daryl Huffman transitioned to be with the Lord, Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at home. He was born March 12, 1967, in Martinsville, VA, to the late Bobby Dean Watkins and Lucille Marie Huffman who survives.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents James and Beulah Watkins and maternal grandparents Cleophus Pritchett and Olivia Huffman.

Bobby leaves behind to cherish his memories his mother Lucille Huffman of Cascade, VA, two daughters, Shantia L. Huffman of Martinsville, VA and Tiffany N. Mclaughlin of Baltimore, MD, One son, Jeremy O. (Cyara) Huffman of Martinsville, VA, one sister, Joyce D. (Christopher) Cahill of Martinsville, VA, three brothers, Keith L. Huffman of Cascade, VA, Marcus (Gladys) Wade of Martinsville, VA, and Greg Adams of Eden, NC, four grandsons, aunts, uncles, and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was the Founder and Bishop of Higher Heights Apostolic Church of Deliverance, Danville, VA. He graduated from Tunstall High School, class of 1986. After high school, he attended Longwood University for Business and Technology, then ECPI University for further advancement for Computers. He pursued Business at Patrick Henry Community College and then The National Business College. He later attended Danville Community College for Criminal Justice. He obtained his Master’s in Psychology from Averett University. He also attended Ancher Theological Seminary and Bible Institute to receive his Doctor of Theology. He attended Walden University to further his career in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. He then received his Qualified Mental Health Professional-Adult (QMHP-A) certification from the Virginia Board of Counsel. He later fulfilled his most prominent accomplishment by being inducted into Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Incorporated.
