Alex Isaiah Charles was born on December 21, 1995, in Misawa, Japan to loving parents who instilled in him the values of faith, integrity, hard work and
compassion.

Alex Isaiah Charles was a beacon of light and love. A dedicated son, loyal brother, devoted nephew, wonderful grandson, and a proud veteran. He was also a successful college graduate and a proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity,
Incorporated. His smile could light up any room, and his kindness touched everyone he met.

Alex is predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Neil Hendrickson Charles, Sr. and maternal grandmother, Byrel Icilda Osbourne.

He is survived by his father, Dr. Alex Charles; his mother, Janice Bryant; his brother, Brandon Charles; his sister, Gabriel Charles; his grandmother, Cynthia
Charles; and a host of family and friends who loved him deeply.

From an early age, Alex’s bright smile, generous heart, and unstoppable spirit left a lasting impression on all who knew him. Alex was a proud Military Veteran who served his country with honor and dedication. His discipline, leadership, and sense
of duty extended far beyond his service.

A College Graduate, Alex pursued knowledge relentlessly and earned his degree with determination and pride—an accomplishment that reflected his dedication to excellence.

A man of deep brotherhood and brotherly love, Alex was a proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., where he cultivated lifelong bonds and served with humility and purpose.

Though our hearts are broken, we take comfort in knowing that Alex’s legacy of love, strength, faith and service will live on through all of us.
