The John T. Lanier, Sr. 14th Annual Virginia Legislative Day is scheduled for February 17, 2022. This year’s event will be hosted virtually and it is free, but you have to register to receive your virtual credentials for the event. This year’s special guests are Brother & Congressman Donald McEachin (VA-4th), VA Legislative Black Caucus, and more leaders.

This year’s topics to be discussed will be an update on national issues in Washington, D.C., the impact of redistricting in Virginia, COVID-19 public health update, education update, gun violence prevention, how the new administration may impact our communities, a call to civic action and how to stay engaged in the political process.

Kappa Alpha Psi members are encouraged to wear their Kappa blazer, white collared shirt, and Kappa tie, and Kappa League members in attendance should wear a white collared shirt and Kappa League tie.

Khronicle

The Eastern Province Khronicle Fall 2021 Edition is now available.

This news organ, The Kappa Khronical, is designed to serve a twofold purpose:  first, to keep the membership informed regarding relevant activities taking place in the province; and, second, to provide a means of sharing timely updates pertaining to activities, especially at the local level.  With poise and grace, our chapter reporters play a pivotal role in helping us disseminate information, motivate performance, promote unity, improve morale, and supplement province historical records.

Join the men of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. Eastern Province as we celebrate 111 Years of Achievement. Our Virtual Founders’ Day will include engaging speakers and tributes to our founders, those celebrating 50 years of our noble fraternity, and those who’ve made their final transition to the Chapter Invisible.

RAC’s Scholarship Gala

The leadership and Chapter Brothers of the Richmond (VA) Alumni Chapter are excited about celebrating a significant milestone – their Chapters’ 75th Anniversary. RAC has been committed to achievement in every field of endeavor by serving the Fraternity, the Chapter, and community for over 75 years.

To commemorate this milestone, RAC will be hosting a 75th Anniversary Scholarship Gala and you and your chapter are invited to have you and your Chapter’s membership celebrate with RAC.

This black-tie affair will be held on December 18, 2021, at the Dewey Gottwald Center from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The Dewey Gottwald Center is located at 2301 W. Leigh Street in Richmond, VA. Donations are $50 per guest.

The venue recently announced that they are presently hosting indoor events and RAC anticipates that will be the case for the Gala. If any changes, with the venue or Virginia COVID policies, the public, and your chapter will be notified immediately. Please note that all CDC guidelines will be adhered to and enforced for everyone’s safety.
