Delray Wylie Jr. 

Biography

Brother Delray Wylie is an emerging and driven leader whose commitment to service, advocacy, and student engagement reflects a strong foundation built through years of leadership and legacy. Known for his approachable nature and passion for uplifting others, he consistently works to create spaces where voices are heard and experiences are valued, particularly within the campus community.

A proud legacy of the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, Brother Wylie carries forward a family tradition of excellence and leadership. Raised in Baltimore, Maryland, he has embraced leadership roles since middle school, developing a consistent track record of initiative, accountability, and impact. His dedication to improving the student experience is evident through his pursuit of leadership opportunities focused on strengthening campus life and fostering meaningful connections among students.

Within Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated, Brother Wylie currently serves as Keeper of Records for the Pi Nu Chapter, where he is responsible for maintaining accurate documentation, preserving chapter history, and ensuring organizational efficiency. Demonstrating continued trust in his leadership, he has also been elected as the 2026–2027 Province Strategus, a role in which he will help guide strategic initiatives, support chapter development, and contribute to the overall advancement of the province. In addition, Brother Wylie serves as Treasurer of the Campus Activities Board, where his work helps enhance the overall campus experience by supporting initiatives that foster community, school spirit, and student involvement.

Currently pursuing a degree in Exercise Science on the pre-med track with aspirations of becoming an orthopedic surgeon, Brother Wylie is deeply invested in both academic and professional growth. His interests extend beyond the classroom, as he actively seeks opportunities to enhance hands-on learning experiences within his field, particularly in clinical and orthopedic settings.

With a vision rooted in unity, progress, and representation, Brother Wylie remains dedicated to leaving a lasting impact on UMES and the communities he serves.
