HBCU Council (DC) Scholarship

The HBCU Council (DC) is pleased to announce the 2022-2023 HBCU Council Scholarship Awards Application cycle. The universal application is available now.

Established in 2003, the HBCU council offered two scholarship awards totaling $2000; The Rev. Dr. Wallace Charles Smith HBC Award, based on academic excellence, and the HBCU Heritage Scholarship Award, based on academic performance and financial need. Since then the HBCU Council has expanded its offerings in additional scholarships and awards.

Students are encouraged to apply for scholarship awards if they plan to attend or have been accepted to a Historically Black College or university (Public/Private).
