Marv was born in Louisville, Kentucky, graduated from Western Kentucky University in 1994, and commissioned as a 2LT in the Ordnance Corps with a branch detail to the Air Defense Artillery. Marv earned a Master of Science in Adult Occupational Education from Kansas State University in 2007. He was attending Georgetown for an Executive Master in Policy Leadership.
Marv’s career included many stateside and overseas assignments with multiple deployments in support of combat operations. His assignments included service in the 3rd Army Cavalry Regiment, 4th Infantry Division, 25th Infantry Division, 21st Theater Sustainment Command, Combined Arms Support Command, Army Sustainment Command, Defense Logistics Agency, Human Resources Command, Arlington National Cemetery, and Army G-4. His commands included B CO, 64th Forward Support Battalion, and Defense Logistics Agency Distribution in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Marv is survived by his wife Bonnie, daughter Tonde’, and son Cody.
