Carroll Wendell Lewis, Jr. was born on June 28, 1964, in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Carroll Wendell Lewis, Sr. and Pamela B. Lewis. Wendell, as he was affectionately known, grew up in Baltimore, Maryland. He was a graduate of Milford Mill High School. While attending Milford Mill High School, he received the Unsung Hero Award while playing lacrosse. He also attended Catonsville Community College and Frostburg State University. While at Frostburg State University, on May 6, 1989, Wendell was initiated into Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., Lambda Mu Chapter. Wendell was blessed with one son, Brandon on July 29, 1995. God called Wendell home suddenly on August 14, 2020. During Wendell’s younger years, he was an avid bowler and received numerous bowling trophies. As he grew older, he enjoyed being a Dejay. Listening to and playing music was one of his favorite pastimes. From Old School ’70s and 80’s Soul, R&B, Club, and Reggae, he truly loved sharing his love of music with his family and friends. He also loved spending time with his family and friends. Wendell was preceded in death by his father, Carroll Wendell Lewis, Sr. He leaves to cherish his memories: his mother, Pamela B. Lewis; his son, Brandon Jaron McRae; his Godson, Keith Darius McRae; his grandchildren, Tayla Jayzmeia McRae, Jalen Carter McRae, and Peyton Brielle McRae; his uncles, Robert Burrell(Gladys) and Rodney Lewis; his aunt, Gwynne (Wilbert); special friends, Rhonda Arnold, Kenneth Ross, and Raymond Harcum; and a host of other relatives and friends. |
