Departed this life on Thursday, January 5, 2017. He was 81. A native of Washington, D.C., Mr. Fauntroy grew up in the Shaw neighborhood. He graduated Francis Grimke Elementary School, Garnet-Patterson Junior High School, and Cardozo Senior High Schoo
